Kavu Fisherman's Chillba Hat

KAVU'S Fisherman's Chillba hat does it all. It's collapsible with a drawcord chinstrap with toggle keeps so the cap stays on your head where it belongs, while a stainless steel ring holds it in shape even after being folded and tucked in your pack. The best rain and sun protector, and a proven conversation starter.

Kavu Fisherman's Chillba Hat

Like all good things in life, the Fisherman's Chillba was born on a kayaking trip in Okinawa. KAVU Founder Barry Barr kept losing his sun hat in the wet rain but the guide had no problems with his reed sloped hat. Once again, an idea was born. This reversible, foldable sunhat is perfect for travel and excellent in wind with a drawcord chinstrap. The steel ring is made at Ballard Sheet Metal down the street from KAVU HQ and the hat is still made in the Emerald City.
