ESP Tapered Shock Leaders (Green)

ESP's tapered shock leaders are designed specifically for long range distance casting with big leads. Their ultra slick surface finish means they absolutely fly out through the rings When using a standard 12ft (3.66m) rod the 9 metre leader equates roughly to 3 or 4 turns on the reel spool plus the length of the rod above the reel, plus a 5 or 6ft (1.5 to 1.8m) casting drop down from the tip ring. Available in Crystal clear, or Weedy green colour options.

RIO's light saltwater shock leaders feature a tough fluorocarbon shock tippet that protects the leader from teeth, gill plates and spines, and are ideal for snook, small tarpon and similar problem species. The main body of the leader is made with a stiff nylon that tapers down to 16lb before being tied to the shock tippet. Each leader is 10ft long and available with either 15lb, 25lb or 40lb fluorocarbon shock tippet. Medium-stiff tapered leaders with a tough fluorocarbon shock tippet.
